Why (C) cannot be the answer?
Hi,
Can you please explain why (C) cannot be the answer? I see lots of people already asked about it but I do not see any replies to them. Thank you in advance.

C does look like an attractive answer choice, although it is quite strong. We know that the author thinks that juries can at times have preconceptions (e.g. that a past felon is likely to commit another crime), but we do not know that all juries have these preconceptions. Just because the author believes this to be true in one case, we cannot know that they believe it to always be true.
