Timing on this Question
I am concerned because although I was able to get this question right, it took me at least 6 minutes to complete. I know this is still early on in the study process, but I am still struggling to see how I'll be able to successfully apply these strategies in less than two minutes. Any advice or insight on this?

You are right that at this point you should not be worrying too much about timing, but ultimately timing is a concern, and while practice will help you get faster, you can try some other tactics for must be true questions.
For a must be true like this where there are no sufficient or necessary language, I would probably skip a diagram, and make sure that I understand the key facts
Humid bad for Cacti Cold bad for orange In most parts, it is good for at least one of them.
Then, we can approach the answer choices with an open mind, and know that we are looking for something that the three statements above prove to be false.
