For this type of question it is good to have a strong understanding of cause and effect. We are trying to strengthen the argument that most animals are equally left and right handed (or weaken the argument that that is not true because dogs tend to shake right-handed). For weaken, strengthen, and paradox questions in particular it is essential to have a strong understanding of causality- in particular to understand the possibilities of alternative causes for a phenomenon. In addition to those lessons, I would recommend office hours on those three topics- which can show you how others think about alternative causes/cause and effect.
