Game 4, Question 3, 46:10
Hello,
I am confused about why C is not also a correct answer? So rule one states that "if mushrooms are added third, then the lentils are added last." The third question in this game then tells us "if lentils are added last, then which of the following must be true?" Wouldn't it be the case that if lentils are last, then mushrooms must have been added third, making C the correct "must be true" answer? I know this may seem like a reversal of the S/N statement, but I'm pretty sure we used this method to determine the correct sequence for the game before this one. Thanks!

You're right that this is a reversal of the mushrooms and lentils rule. Since lentils being 6 was the necessary condition, the presence of the necessary condition (L=6) does not guarantee that the sufficient condition (M=3) happened. Remember, we can never just reverse a conditional statement.
