How to efficiently answer

I'm curious about how on a real test I'd efficiently answer this question. If the correct choice was say all the way down at E, plugging in each wrong answer and seeing if it works or not would be a big use of time... is there a quicker way to see which answer is correct?

Hi MasonDees,

The quickest way to answer this question is to have a thorough understanding of the rules and the setup. Since we have a rule being replaced, we should have a new diagram for this question, that might look as follows

L K _ _ _ _ _ _ L,

And we know that the MKM > O > L rule is still in effect. From this you should look at each of the answer choices and see if any immediately seem to raise any red flags. Here, since we know that MKM must come before O, and there is only one O, I would immediately look at (B) since we know the most about O.

There is no silver bullet for these questions, but prioritizing the answer choices that raise the most red flags (e.g. deal with very constrained variables like O) should save time, as well as practicing games.
