Choices D and E- three P's or three T's

Hey Guys! If we have three P's or three T's, we could make correct scenarios, and the wording if the question only asks which people could leave the first and last call, not ONLY the first and last calls, leaving open the possibility that they could make three calls. Therefore, how can D and E be said to be wrong? Thanks!
