Question # 22 - Assumption - Essayist and Historical Figures
So I originally chose Answer Choice "E" for this one. I can see why it is potentially incorrect but I wanted to double check with someone. Is it incorrect because of the language "least engaging"? I would think the stimulus never alludes or discusses that moral virtue is the characteristic of historical figures we find least engaging. Am I correct to think this?
My logic for Answer Choice "B" is that nowhere in the stimulus is bravery and creativity make it more difficult to be morally virtuous therefore that is out.
My logic for Answer Choice "C" seems to me to be too strong. The stimulus never implies that all historical figures are morally virtuous.
My logic for Answer Choice "D" while it is tempting to pick and I thought about picking it is that it's wrong because "people developing conception of what they know" isn't spoken about nor even implied. Is this true?
Answer Choice "A" is a direct restatement of the last sentence of the stimulus so that is why it's correct.
