Hi Mairahashmi,

L is just a shorthand abbreviation formLabrador, and BGD is a shorthand for barks a great deal.

We do not know for sure that something that is not a lab doesn't bark a lot. Nothing in the passage tells us that labs are the only animal that barks a lot.
