Question # 5

I want to see why Answer Choices "A" "B" "C" and "E" are all wrong. I'd like someone to either confirm or deny if my reasoning is in line with the testmakers. Choice "A": The author does talk about seeds but never says anything about the revitalization of seed exchanges. That can't be found anywhere in the passage. Choice "B": Way too strong; the use of "Only" demonstrates this. In the first paragraph, the author states "As a possible solution", not "the only solution." Choice "C: Way too strong; never see references to non-heirloom crops. Can someone confirm whether I am right here? Choice "E": Too strong; out of scope; Talking in absolutes; The author mentions farmer's knowledge of local environments but never implies or states "we must rely on them." Any feedback?

In general, for most strongly supports questions, the wrong answers are wrong because the passage didn't say that. I think you're right about why they're wrong, but I would focus on why the right answer is right rather than why the wrong answers are wrong for a must be true like this
