Question # 15 - Main Point Passage
So I chose the correct answer for this question.
Answer Choice "B" just seemed to capture the overall picture of the passage. Two approaches to bankruptcy law are discussed: traditional view and modern view. The modern view seemed to me more restrictive and the modern was more liberal and willing to help companies.
Then two people are discussed and explained. Jackson and Korobkin. Jackson is a proponent of the traditional way and Korobkin is a proponent of the modern way. Reasons are given for each person as to why they feel the way they feel.
But then in the last paragraph in the line, "But while Korobkin's approach is more equitable than Jackson's, it also has its significant weaknesses." So the author believes it has its drawbacks. So this is why I went with Answer Choice "B"
Answer Choice "A": I believe this is just one section of the overall passage and it describes only Paragraph 2.
Answer Choice "C": This is just one portion of the passage describing Korobkin. It summarizes Paragraph 2 but not the entire passage.
Answer Choice "D": Again this is just one portion of the passage. It's Paragraph 2 and it doesn't capture the main point.
Answer Choice "E": Nowhere in the passage do I see that Korobkin's vision is more popular. It says it's more equitable but not more popular.
