Question # 18 - Inference Question - Jackson Most Likely to Agree

I picked Answer Choice "C" for this one. Jackson is a traditionalist; therefore, he'd believe in efficiency and settling creditor's pre-existing contractually secured claims based off of collectivized debt collection so as to be efficient. A) Bankruptcy laws should be designed to minimize the likelihood that businesses will have to cease operating in order to satisfy creditors. - This is Korobkin's view not Jackson's. B) The claims of those creditors to whom the largest amounts of money are owed should be given highest priority when funds yielded by bankruptcy proceedings are distributed - This is Korobkin's rational planning view point, not Jackson's. D.) Bankruptcy laws that emphasize efficiency should be abandoned in favor of those that place emphasis on equity - Jackson wouldn't believe in this statement. Korobkin would because he's for equity. E.) The legal system should function as a debt collection service only in cases in which corporations that owe debts cannot earn sufficient profits to stay in business - Nowhere in the passage do I see a mention of debt collection services hence this is why I punted on this one.
