Why Not 'Must Be True"

Why is the answer not 'Must Be True'? Conflicts with the writer's points/views signifies 'Cannot be True'. Except negates that. I don't understand how the negation of 'Cannot Be True' is not 'Must Be True'? Please explain as none of the explanations thus far have helped me.

Hi Brian,

This is asking us which of the following is not something that cannot be true. Lets look at three examples, and see for which of them it is not the case that it cannot be true:

The sun will rise in the south
February is the longest month
The Cleveland Browns will make the playoffs

The first two cannot be true, the third, while unlikely, is possible. So, for the third one, it is not something that must be false. It does not have to be true, but it could be true, so we cannot prove it is false.
