Which one of the following is an acceptable assignment of employees to the positions?

Game Set-up
On the game setup video, some of the hypotheticals we drew out have one manager position and three technician positions; how does that not contradict the phrase "Other employees are each supervised by EXACTLY one employee" Does that not mean that every technician should have their own supervisor?

I don't think that has to be true. If we say that a team has exactly one leader, that means there is one leader of the team, not that every person on the team has their own, different leader.
