I chose answer choice A b/c it directly followed. However, I still don't see why D doesn't. Can someone please explain? Thanks!

Hi, we can negate D to say that not everyone who was justifiably dismissed was disloyal. This does not destroy the argument, since we know incompetence is also a reasonable grounds for dismissal.
