In the answer choice E, it states that it is not correct because nutrients are not mentioned in the passage. Why is the correct answer involving fat tissue despite that not being mentioned in the passage either?

While fat tissue is not explicitly mentioned, it is relevant to the topic at hand, that is, obesity in mice. Even if something is not explicitly mentioned it could be referenced in the passage.
