I don't understand how they disagree over B
K never implies its unreasonable to assume the nature of a culture based on the materials used to make the artifacts, she just says there are more considerations when making that determination. So why is B the right answer?

K tells us that there are more considerations, so we cannot rely solely on if the artifacts are made to last. Since K believes we cannot use them to be sure, she must believe that B is not a reasonable assumption.
