"or both"
I got the answer right, as I focused on the concept of not M or not I in the correct answer choice. However, how can we understand the addition of "or both" in our diagrams?

Hi, I think that the idea of "or both" is just showing that two things are not mutually exclusive. If you want to add it to a diagram, I often just use "OrB" as an abbreviation.
