Answer A?

I got the answer correct after second guessing myself off of A, but since the question asks to identify simply a conclusion that could be made, how could there be no justification for A? Yes, E might give the best answer but this is not what the question stem asks. How do we intuit this for test-taking circumstances?

There is no justification for A because benzene is not the same chemical as formaldehyde. Houseplants remove some toxins, one of which is formaldehyde. This doesn't tell us anything about benzene. By analogy, we could say that some liquids are safe to drink, and water is safe to drink. This does not support the conclusion that lighter fluid is safe to drink.
