Hey there, I was stuck between C & D but ultimately went with the wrong choice haha. Can somebody explain why D is incorrect? Thank you

Hi, the fact that one car got damaged and the other did not is a fact or piece of evidence, not a general principle. A general principle is a general rule, like "if you steal a car, you did something wrong"
