can someone explain answer choice D
i am confused how D will not weaken the argument as work load of physcicans in training can be an alternate cause to how well doctors perform in training.

Hi, we are trying to weaken the argument that since current doctors make good decisions late in their shift, we should not change the way that resident doctors are trained.
I don't think D really adds anything to this. D tells us that some residents have it better or worse than others. So what? The workload isn't an alternative cause, it is the cause that we are discussing.
