True/ False
I'm at the true or false section and I am a little confused on when the question doesn't explicitly say "could be true" or "must be false" etc. There is one that states, "each of the following statements conflicts with the letter of the writer's view EXCEPT" and I'm not sure if this is a "must be false" "cannot be false" etc type question. There were a couple questions similar to this and I'm not sure how you understand the questions.

This is where you will need to parse what the question is asking you.
In the example you mentioned, "conflicts with the writers view except" is asking us to find the thing that does not necessarily have to conflict with what was said. In other words, it is something that is not necessarily false if that the author said was true. We can equate this to could be true.
They will find different ways to ask questions, but it will almost always boil down to reading the phrasing of the question and doing what it asks.
