How does Jennifer's argument support Peter's on "independent" grounds?

I am confused about what they mean by "independent" and how to identify what this phrase means in answer choices.

Hi, independent means another reason to support his conclusion that was not part of his initial argument: it is effectively a different way of supporting the same conclusion.
