determining the correct answer

When we are checking the answer choices should can we negate them and which ever destroys the conclusion will be correct?

Hi, we only negate for necessary assumption questions, this is a sufficient assumption question where we are trying to fix the argument. Negation will not help us here.

But yes, you're right that's a great tool for necessary assumptions, but not for sufficient assumptions.
