Errors in Reasoning Questions - - Question 2
Emil-Kunkin June 24, 2023
Hi, we can figure out the flaw by attacking the argument and asking how it could be the case that the conclusion is not true, even if the premises are true. This is actually something we should be doing for all questions that have an argument that ask us to do something such as weaken, strengthen, and sufficient assumption. While there are categories of flaws (Like causality, or part to whole) I think it's more important that you articulate why that specific argument doesn't have to be correct rather than to place the flaw into a specific category.
