Clarification
Hello-
I am not understanding why D is incorrect. If we have the WY block how could we just put Y in the afternoon without W? If we look at our rules question in #1 we see that TWY are all in the afternoon. Are we looking at a scenario where W goes at 11 a.m. and Y goes right at 2?

That's exactly what we're looking at. Even though there's a break in the times, it's totally kosher to have w at 11 and y at 2, since w is still the performance immediately before y.
Also remember that the rules question is just one valid scenario: it's useful to determine what could happen, but there are also usually other valid possibilities.
