Reading Comp General Q

Hello, This is more of a general question, not sure where else to ask it. I'm taking the online proctored LSAT in February of 2024, and I was wondering if I'm allowed to read out loud. I know in a usual testing situation you could not, but since I'm going to be by myself, is this something that is allowed? Sometimes reading out loud helps my comprehension, by seeing it and hearing it, I also feel like I don't miss as much. Another question I had that I've tried to look on LSAC's website for was, how many sections there are for the online version? I've heard that there are 3, but I wasn't sure if this just meant 3 different types of sections and then you can possibly have two of one of the three types since there is normally an unscored fourth part that is for experimentation. On the LSAT Flex is there just one of each RC, LG, and LR? Another question I have is that I heard on the Legal Level podcast that you can simulate how the LSAT Flex is taken with an option on the practice tests, but I haven't been able to see where this is. Can someone guide me to how to do that? Thank you.

The letter of the policy is that you are not allowed to read aloud during RC, or any other section. The degree to which this is enforced may vary. In my personal experience, none of my proctors stopped me from doing a whisper/mouthing along as I read, although I'm not necessarily encouraging you to do the same. I would also note that if you are eligible for accommodations, i beehive that reading aloud is an available accommodation.

There will be four sections. Three will be scored, one will be unscored. There is no difference between taking it online and in person now. Until next summer there will be one of each scored, with the unscored section being a second of one of the three. After next august when games are eliminated, there will be two LR sections and one RC section scored, plus one additional unscored section of either rc or lr.

I think that option was back when the flex did not include an unscored section, which has not been the case for several years now.
