Tree question on five
I am having a hard time grasping the some on top of the latter two on the chain which includes maples and dogwoods. How was it decided that some could be on top of the far right ?

We know for sure the following t > m > d, and we know that over half of the S are older than any M, but that there must be at least some S that are younger than at least some M. I think it's easier to just think about the some as "we know there are some S sprinkled after the earliest M, but other than that we don't know where."
