Why can’t M play Golf

I don’t understand how you concluded that M can no longer play golf. Why isn’t it possible that P can no longer play golf?

This question is asking what happens if P and S play different sports. If M plays golf, them P and S must both play golf, so in order for them to play different sports, M can't play golf.
