Question stem

My anticipation was right but the lesser part got me. Would it be the opposite as the impact is greater when it’s due to financial reasons? Also, can someone explain the question stem, it doesn’t look like a disagreement rather than agreement.

As to the stem, It's long winded, but it does ask which one the statements give support for showing that they disagree on, so I think it's useful to double check the key parts of the stem (eg the words agree or disagree, or terms indicating that we are looking for an strengthened or weakener).

I agree the "less" part of the answer choice is weird; I was really surprised reading it. However I would still make sure to double check it against my understanding of the passage. We know that they disagree about what makes a medical system good: while both involve a form of rationing, one supports the type using ability to pay as the criterion, and the other using some noneconomic means. In other words we know they disagree as to whether economic or noneconomic criteria are better for allocating care.

I think this anticipation is very helpful because it's at a fairly high level of abstraction. It's not so abstract as to be meaningless, but it's broad enough that an answer talking about relative quality would still work.

I like trying to keep my anticipations as a high-ish level description of what a right answer will be so weird working doesn't throw me off.
