Strategy

Okay... So I am now reconsidering a strategy change and would like a second opinion. I am a 95+% LG test taker, and I have always had to really push myself to get in timed conditions, and still do. I have previously done the questions in order, and used my previous work when able. This was the first time I did the conditional (if "x" is "y") questions first. I got this question done roughly 20-30 seconds quicker than the first time I did it many months ago. Should I be changing my strategy this close to the test? If this strategy change this late in the game is okay, are there any questions someone would recommend to test out this strategy for efficiency?

I think both strategies can work well, I do like the idea of hunting for the scenario questions. If you're the kind of person who loves to apply the work from past questions, those are guaranteed to give you something to work with.

I'd say try it out for your next few games sections, and if it feels right stick with it.

My personal take is that if you are a very strong games taker, it probably won't matter, and you should just do what makes you feel more comfortable. If you find you're moving much faster, then certainly stick with the new approach, but if you aren't seeing much of a difference just do what makes you comfortable. Once you get to a certain level of understanding, you should feel free to tinker because I really don't think there's such a thing as going backwards. Give it a try, and see how it works.

Thanks Emil! Would you have any recommendations for games that are potentially time-consuming and/or difficult?Just to push me a little bit...

Also, I'm not sure if you can answer it here, but I watched your strengthen with necessary video, and I was curious if you had any overarching recommendations on strengthen with necessary. For some reason, I tend to score lower on that specific subset. I will do the negation test when answering them.

So for games that are miserable, the flower game in 88 and the representative game with France and Ghana are some of my least favorites. Actually I think those two games sections are quite hard in their entirety.

I also think the workpieces game somewhere in the late 70s is a good one, and the used/new CDs around pt 45 is probably the hardest game I can remember. I don't remember the exact number but you can usually Google the general subject and "lsat" and it'll tell you where to find it.

As to necessary assumptions, treat them as must be true. That's by far the easiest way I know to approach them, since they're really just asking us what the author must believe.

Ooh, some of my favorites, haha. The PT92 just shook me with that long game 1, definitely caught me off guard on my timing.
