Unless as sufficient, not necessary.
In the lecture video for this section, the speaker says that the word "unless" introduces the necessary condition, but in the question, the clause following "unless" is sufficient. Why?

I like to just replace the word uncles with the phrase "if not" rather than thinking about any complex formula. So here we would have you will be bored if you do not climb mountains.
