The good news is that math questions aren't about math. They're about basic numeracy, but primarily logical reasoning. You're never going to be asked to do anything beyond fifth grade level math (almost always knowing the difference between a percent and an absolute), and the math we are asked to understand is almost always in furtherance of understanding a logical flaw. That's what we have here. Obesity is defined here as being in the top 15 percent: so if the overall number of obese people has increased, then the overall population must have increased. I would always be on the lookout for percentages V absolutes when you see a percent
