How does D) supporting the conclusion?

I looked over all the other discussion post and I'm still quite confused about the answer choice D. How does "there must be a more equitable arrangement that practically attainable for it to be fair" support the No.1 reason "limited number of masterpieces make wider distribution of them impractical"?

It doesn't support it in the sense that it proves the statements to be true, it supports the argument by showing that since there is a limited number and wider distribution is not practical, therefore we should not try to redistribute masterpieces. The argument rests on the idea that we should not redistribute since it would be impractical due to g limited number, and since it would lessen the effect of each one. D tells us that these reasons do in fact provide justification for not redistributing.
