I see how this is right but I shy'd away from this for what I assume is a silly reason. I took cooked all the way through and cooked through to be two different things I.e a flaw. Are the test makers that nit picky or am I just being paranoid?

The test makers are very nit-picky, but "cooked all the way through" and "cooked through" are merely synonyms and so there is nothing to be not picky about.
