Negation

Quick question on the previous post I noticed that the negation was not necessarily instead of simply saying not for c and d. Is simply saying the crashes will not decrease or the flying time is not an important factor wrong? Thanks

While technically the correct negation of "will decrease" is "will not necessarily decrease," you should be fine using "will not decrease" as your negation.

Is there a specific reason as to why the negation is "will not NECESSARILY decrease" instead of simply "will not"? Also, does it make a difference if one is used over the other? Thank you in advance for the clarification!
