Hi @Flavio, thanks for your question. Here is the textual support for each answer choice:Answer choice (A): Lines 26-29
Answer choice (B): Lines 40-49
Answer choice (C): Lines 31-38
Answer choice (D): No textual support. Although there is mention of a redistribution of Earth's seawater (lines 45-46), there is NO discussion of changes in the circulation patterns in the Earth's oceans. This is the answer (remember: this is an "Except" question).
Answer choice (E): 40-45
Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Nowhere in the text does it say that there are temperature changes on the Earth's surface, though. Can you please explain how that has more support than the ocean circulation option?kyleprzy10 February 20, 2020
Wouldn't redistribution be the same thing as changing circulation ?

I agree, wouldn't climatic changes and redistribution of seawater equal changes in circulation patterns? Changes in climate involve changes in rainfall, a part of the water cycle. This question was very confusing because I thought C and D are equally vague. Option C's support says "material from the inner and outer boundaries of the fluid core". It doesn't specifically say outer core materials. Couldn't the same level of implication be used for C and D? Please help. I am doing terribly on reading passages.

I also chose (D), but it's definitely wrong - the water could be redistributed but retain its circulation patterns.
