Converting the sentence into sufficient and necessary condition

According to this video explanation, the first sentence "it is difficult to grow cacti in a humid climate" is converted to "If it is a humid climate, it is difficult to grow cacti" I don't clearly understand how this common sentence which does not have a sufficient and necessary condition could be changed to " if ...." Should it have a certain rule to change the sentence to "if...."? How about this? When I faced this question, I promptly found "To..." which is definitely a sufficient condition. So, "To grow cacti in a humid climate(GCHC) is difficult" Therefore, GCHC======> Difficult Is that wrong conversion? I'm still confused.

The first and second sentence give us a principle rule about humid and cold climates. It is characteristic of humid climates that they make it difficult to grow cacti. Therefore, if it is a humid climate, then it will be difficult to grow cacti. Being a humid climate is sufficient for us to know that it will be difficult to grow cacti.

Trying to grow cacti in a humid climate is not what makes it difficult to grow cacti, rather it is the fact that the climate is humid that creates the difficulty in growing the cacti.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
