What makes b wrong

Is it because of the word "only" in that it is not necessary that appearance is the ONLY thing pit bulls can be identified off of ?

@rash21 (B) is incorrect because the argument is that a "pit bull" is NOT a breed of dog, but rather a description of the dog based on what the dogs do, such as "Seeing Eye dog" and "police dog."

So (B) is not even true, i.e. pit bulls cannot be distinguished from other kinds of dogs by appearance alone.
