Question

I happened to get this question right, but I am a little confused as to how A-some-not B was not one of the answer choices since these are 2 most statements with the left side in common. Thank you!

@Brendan not sure I am understanding your question here.

This is a missing premise drill so how can you combine "most" with "some" to conclude "most?"

The exception you are referring to is two "most" statements with the left side in common that result in a "some" statement as your conclusion.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if I am misunderstanding your question here.

You explained it perfectly. I didn't realize that the exception rule ONLY applied to premises. I was assuming the exception rule could also apply to missing premise drills. Thank you for clarifying!
