I don't know that type of problem this is. Can someone give me a better explanation of what this is/ what this type of problem is even used for?

@briesci these drills are asking you to supply the missing premise that 100% guarantees the conclusion.

So these drills are effectively Strengthen with Sufficient Premise questions stripped down to the pure formal logic.
