Disprove vs Weaken

What is the difference between disproving an argument vs weakening an argument. Wouldn't the claim that eating meat is good for your health be able to disprove the vegetarian argument?

@Kahanding the problem with (A) is that this sentence is not used to disprove the position that we should not eat meat.

Rather, it is used to attack the claim "that there are two individually sufficient reasons for not eating meat."

This is why (D) is the correct answer.

Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
