The correct answer choice is what Dana and Pat would disagree on based on the information in the passage.Dana's main point is that "A child's accustomed style of learning should ALWAYS dictate what method is used." Whereas, Pat states that Dana's main point is NOT ALWAYS true because the "flexibility of being able to work either on one's own or in a group is invaluable in a world where both skills are in demand."
Answer choice E states: "It is sometimes desirable to tailor educational methods to the way a child learns best." Dana would clearly agree with this because she believes that this is something that should always be done.
Pat's reply to Dana's belief is "not always." This means that SOMETIMES Pat agrees with Dana. So, Pat and Dana actually both agree on answer choice (E).

HI, I also have the same question. When it said "sometimes" desirable. I thought she would disagree with it because she claims it is "always" desirable, rather than sometimes.

Hi @Alex-Mansour,Great question.
Dana’s conclusion: It is wrong to think that the same educational methods should be used with all children.
Pat’s conclusion: Not always.
As in, Pat believes that it is not always wrong to think that the same educational methods should be used with all children.
If you should not always do something, that means that SOMETIMES you should do that thing. So Pat believs that it is sometimes acceptable to change educational methods based on the child.
Takeaway: If someone disagrees with an all statement, they believe that SOMETIMES it is wrong. Thus, be open minded to answer choices with "some” statements even if the stimulus appears to only contain “all” statements.
Does this make sense? Please let me know if you have additional questions!
