Matt Shinners Harvard Law
Matt earned a biochemistry degree from Boston College and a law degree from Harvard (where he sadly didn't get a chance to meet Mehran despite them being there at the same time).
After law school, Matt has spent much of his career building materials and programs for students to take their LSAT prep to the next level. He's taught and designed classes, wrote and edited study guides and books, and written or edited an explanation for essentially every question that's been on the test. His focus on why someone would select each answer allows him to address the pitfalls that he's seen students fall into."

Ross Rinehart USC Law
Ross graduated from UCLA in 2009 with a BA in English and Political Science, and from USC Law in 2013. (Yes, he gets a lot of questions about attending both of those crosstown rivals.)
But after graduating from law school, Ross couldn’t escape the gravitational pull of the LSAT. Ross has been teaching the LSAT since 2014, leading dozens in-person and online courses, tutoring many students, developing LSAT courses, creating written and filmed LSAT explanations, writing about the exam for several outlets, training and mentoring other LSAT instructors … he’s been around this test for a long time and has approached it from many angles. And yet, he has never tired of the exam, or helping his students achieve life-changing score increases.
Ross knows how difficult studying for the LSAT can be and always aims to create a comfortable and convivial learning environment, in which asking questions and making mistakes are not only accepted, but embraced as an integral part of the learning process. In fact, making mistakes is something Ross is all too familiar with: Ross has been an avid skater for over 20 years, and has messed up about a million (give or take) trick attempts. When the LSAT and falling on his skateboard have worn out Ross’s mind and joints, respectively, Ross enjoys playing tennis, collecting records, and searching for the perfect cup of coffee."

Jelena Woehr Colorado State University
Jelena Woehr was born and raised in Golden, Colorado, known as “the gateway to the Rocky Mountains.” There she cut her teeth on logic by getting into, then out of, an impressive amount of trouble. When not organizing student protests or lobbying the school board, Jelena competed in equestrian sports and constitutional debate.
More recently, Jelena took the June 2017 LSAT, partly out of curiosity about the legal profession and partly because she developed a serious Logic Games addiction after her initial diagnostic. After three months of self-directed study, Jelena achieved a score of 178. While she didn't end up falling in love with law school, she did find herself really enjoying the LSAT—so much that she left her previous, ten-year career in tech startups behind and began teaching the test. Jelena prides herself on helping her students understand not just the systems and methods they can apply to get a good score, but the underlying logic of the test and its applicability to the challenge of learning to think like a law student.
Outside of her work with the LSAT, Jelena is a writer, creative content producer, and a competitive equestrian endurance rider. Her work appears on several popular true crime podcasts, and her spec TV pilots have been recognized in major competitions. She recently completed both the 100-mile Tevis Cup and the 50-mile AERC National Championship."

LSATMax Tutoring Student, Score: 180
“I signed up for some tutoring sessions and the effect was immediate. My practice scores began to rise again. My tutor had an answer for every question I asked, and with their help I got a 180 when I took the test.”
I used the tutoring services at TestMax to bring my score up 8 points and get into my dream law school
I used the tutoring services at TestMax for my LSAT and had a great experience! Ravi Reddy was my tutor and was the best. He helped to bring my score up 8 points and helped to polish my applications. I got into my dream law school and owe a big thank you to Ravi and TestMax!

Tutoring With Ravi Increased My Score Expeditiously
I want to give a major shout out to Ravi for tutoring me. At the beginning of this year my average PT was 161. I could not improve anymore on my own. By the grace of God I was able to get connected with Ravi in March and by April my PT average increased to 168. I increased 7 points in a month based solely on his customized study plan. Thanks to him I feel more confident and ready to take the official exam. If you are stuck and need any assistance I highly encourage you to run and contact him. My only regret is that I didn’t get in contact with him sooner.

Ravi from LSAT Max was extremely helpful in answering my questions and was listening to me the entire time. He also helped me with whatever I needed during my tutor session, such as giving different strategies to tackle a problem.

LSAT Max Tutoring w/ Ravi
I did a handful of tutoring sessions with Ravi. He put me on a study plan that included drilling, practice testing, and blind review. The drilling schedule was particularly useful for mastering logic games. I don’t think I would’ve scored in the 170s without Ravi’s help. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the LSAT and a great educator!

Get a Tutor! I recommend Ravi!
I utilized tutoring with Ravi for about one month prior to my test. I honestly wish I had met him sooner. He was excellent at helping me think more proficiently on games. I recommend using him when you feel comfortable with games because he will definitely take you to the next level. Overall, LSAT max's platform has been really great for me. It takes discipline.. but so will law school!

Great Tutoring! Highly Recommend!
Ravi Reddy was an amazing tutor! He helped me not only better understand how to answer the questions on the LSAT, but also the underlying strategy of the test as a whole. Ravi also was great at boosting confidence before the test and helped support me as I applied to, and was ultimately accepted to, Harvard Law School’s Junior Deferral Program.

Working with Ravi helped improve my LSAT score…
Working with Ravi helped improve my LSAT score immensely. His approach to teaching comes not only from a mastery of the material (he achieved a perfect 180 on his LSAT), but in identifying the nuanced thinking patterns of his respective students. On numerous occasions, Ravi helped me dismantle whole question types one afternoon, which might have otherwise taken me days/weeks to fully comprehend on my own. I could not recommend a better tutor.

Best LSAT tutor!
After just one LSAT tutoring session with Ravi Reddy, my score jumped up from a 165 to a 171. He rapidly identified my strengths and weaknesses and knew exactly how to improve each one. He was patient, professional, and friendly, and it felt like he was genuinely invested in my success. I could not have asked for a better tutor.

Ravi was the absolute best
Ravi was the absolute best. He's in a league of his own. I had to retake my test with technical difficulties but still scored 160, which got me a 47k scholarship to Chapman Law School. It wouldn't of been possible without him.

I was really struggling to reach the score I needed on the LSAT and after only 3 months with LSATMAX and my score went up 20 points! The tutors are so nice and really helpful in explaining and helping me work through what I didn’t understand. Great experience!

LSAT Max helped me get a 165.
LSAT Max was essential in helping me achieve a 165 on the LSAT. My first practice test came back as a 155, so I had a significant improvement with this program. I recommend taking full advantage of the tutoring. I had Ravi Reddy as my tutor and he helped me take my scores to the next level beyond what was provided in the curriculum.

TestMax Review
The program gave me most of what I needed to be successful on the LSAT. However, there were some other books I had to consult to gain some more necessary knowledge that the course did not provide me with. The main thing that I enjoyed about this program was the tutoring hours. Clyde Engle was my tutor and did an amazing job of always helping answer any questions I had and preparing me for success on the test.

I would definitely recommend LSATMax for doing well on the LSAT. The course was really helpful in giving me a foundation of what to expect on the test and the skills necessary to do well. Also, the daily office hours were great for helping me learn other strategies from various tutors who you can tell have a deep understanding of and appreciation for the test. Additionally, working with a tutor (I worked with Ravi, who I would definitely recommend—he was really great and easy to work with!!) helped me a ton with finding out what I was struggling with and how to mitigate those problems. He helped me so much with not just the content of the test but also with making me feel a thousand times more confident about the test. I credit him and t...

Thanks to LSATMax
Thanks to LSATMax, I was able to raise my score 11 points in a short amount of time. However, this would not have been remotely possible without the help of an excellent tutor, Rob. He was able to explain concepts that I was struggling with in a clear, concise manner and guide me through problems with precision and enthusiasm. I had struggled with test anxiety in the past, but Rob gave me the confidence needed to succeed on test day. After working with Rob, taking the LSAT was a whole new experience. I highly recommend this program, and especially Rob, to anyone looking to improve their score!

I had a great experience!!
Abby's personality and upbeat nature made it a good environment for me to learn. The explanations and the ability to break down the concepts made my ability to choose the correct answer easier.

I have been using Clyde Engle for tutoring since September and he has been amazing! I have Used other tutors in the past and none have been as great as Clyde. He is always so encouraging and professional. He has really helped me understand the test like no one else has and I would not of been able to get through studying for this test without him!!

For LSAT tutoring
For LSAT tutoring, I worked with Clyde Engle and, in full transparency, Clyde is singlehandedly the only redeeming quality about LSATMax. Every single other aspect in choosing LSATMax as a course was subpar and iffy—if you are thinking of doing LSATMax, I would say only do it if you plan to do tutoring with Clyde. From the beginning, he was consistently encouraging, professional, and respectful. But, he was also appreciably and bluntly straightforward—I knew with him that I was never going to get things sugarcoated and a false sense of security, which in the LSAT and law school admissions process, is incredibly needed to successfully navigate these competitive waters. He was kind and uplifting, but also gave me constructive criticism, wh...

I left my tutoring session
I left my tutoring session with a definite plan and clearer map for increasing my reading performance. Abby was a great listener which allow her to tailor what steps/techniques to include into my plan. In one day, I realized and applied steps in my reading that made the process more productive.

LSATMax's private tutors (as well as…
LSATMax's private tutors (as well as its online prep program) are fantastic. With their help I was able to improve from an initial 154 to a 164 on October's test. I'm currently averaging in the high 160s-low 170s on practice tests as I continue studying for the November exam. I primarily worked with Abigail George, a great person and inspiring teacher. I had a blast analyzing games with her, and learned key insights during each of our sessions. For maximum improvement on the LSAT, I highly recommend scheduling some appointments to meet up with Abigail for online tutoring.
