Hi @JayDee8732.

This is a Must Be True question.

The stimulus presents you with a series of facts, as follows:
P: Members of the VideoKing Frequent Viewers club can now receive a special discount coupon.

P: Members of the club who have rented more than 10 videos in the past month can receive the discount coupon only at the VideoKing location from which the member last rented a movie. This can be diagrammed as MC 10+ [members of the club who have rented 10+ videos] ==> LLR [location last rented]

P: Members of the Frequent Viewers club who have not rented more than 10 videos in the past month can receive the coupon only at the Main Street location. This can be diagrammed as MC >10 [members of the club who have not rented more than 10 videos] ==> MSL [Main Street location]

P: Pat, who has not rented more than 10 videos in the past month, can receive the special discount coupon at the Walnut Lane location. This can be diagrammed as P ==> WLL [Walnut Lane location]

What's interesting here is the interplay between the 2nd and 3rd fact.

You are told Pat has not rented more than 10 videos. If he was a club member who had not rented more than 10 videos, he would only be eligible to pick up his coupon at the Main Street location.

Yet you are told that Pat can pick up his coupon at Walnut Lane. This must mean that Pat is not a member of the VideoKing Frequent Viewers club.

Answer choice (D) thus must be true: "Some people who are not members of the Frequent Viewers club can receive the special discount coupon." For example, Pat!

Hope this helps.
