Question 17

@meisen Since this question is set up as an analogy, each piece of the story about a cook preparing a meal for many guest vs. a single guest must have an analogous part in the discussion about antibiotics. The bacteria is the cook, and it is trying to develop resistance to antibiotics just as the cook is trying to please his or her guests. Since the Herbalist says "while standard antibiotics have just one active ingredient, herbal antibacterial remedies typically contain several," then in the comparison with the cook, herbal remedies would be analogous to the several dozen guests (several active ingredients), and the antibiotics would be the single guest (one active ingredient).
