How Do I Read the Question Stem?

The stem is: Which one of the following is the most adequate evaluation of the logical force of the critics' response? I chose the answer that I believed would best explain the critics reasoning, but the correct answer choice resolves a flaw in the critics "logical force". I am just confused as to whose side I'm suppose to be on. Is there an objective way to always think about answering Argument Evaluations?

@teddyteddted absolutely! Argument Evaluation questions are not asking you to take a side.

Arguments are either valid or flawed and this question stem is simply asking you to assess the argument's logical force.

Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

No, this answer does not help. You just reworded the stem. What does it mean to assess the logical force of an argument?

That just means to assess how strong the argument is. Logical force is little more than the strength of the argument.
