Hello. Can you please explain why E is the right answer? All of the answers seem to be a element in the transformation of archaeology

Lines 9-10 and 33-36 talk about this major change: not discarding artifacts that have no discernible value. This is meant to be the element in transformation, as lines 31-32 mention this change as the field having "transformed itself." @LizD Hope that helps!

Hi, I get that this is a major change, but it's not a POLICY as mentioned in the correct answer choice. I eliminated this answer choice because policy was not mentioned in the text. Please explain how we can draw the line in choosing an answer even if the words stretch out like in this case...

For the same reason as Gabby I eliminated E. I'm incredibly confused as to where you draw the line in broadening and assumed interpretation.
