The passage states which one of the following?
on March 10 at 09:06PM
Hi, Can you please explain the answer?
on March 23 at 04:53PM
Happy to help. This question is very open-ended, so it's hard for us
to have a sense of what to anticipate. This means that we should go
through each of the answer choices and compare them with our
understanding of the passage. In reading (A), we see that it's
referred to in the fourth paragraph. There, we find out in lines 51-54
that contingency-fee agreements "shift the risk of not recovering
these costs, and of not obtaining a damages award that will pay their
lawyer's fees, from the client to the lawyer." This is precisely what
(A) says, so it's the correct answer.
Does this make sense? Let us know if you have any questions!
