This question confused me even though I was able to understand why D was the answer. At first, my guess was E. That it is always wrong not to tell the truth. However, this is a question where there is a conclusion based on a "general principle". Will there be questions like this in different scenarios on the lsat? I guess Im trying to ask, is the conclusion always what is based on the "general principle"?

A conclusion could be a general principle, but here. That principle is being used to support the idea that this specific instance was wrong. The conclusion is always the thing that the author is trying to prove.
