Why is it not A?

Good evening!! Okay so the statement states how people look back at the events in their life, so it makes sense for A to be the correct answer. It does not state in the statement that people coming to an end think back on the events that happened in that century, it just says the events that happen in their life.

@Mari,

Happy to help. Let's look at (A).

(A) says, "reminisce about their own lives"

The problem with (A) is that it says "own lives," and we are supposed
to extend the argument's analogy to how people feel at the end of a
century. If this answer had instead said, "reminisce about the century
that is ending," then it would have been correct.

Does this make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions!
